Weather: 

Southern Namibia experiences a desert climate characterized by hot temperatures and minimal rainfall. The region, encompassing areas like Sossusvlei and the Namib Desert, often sees scorching daytime temperatures, especially during the summer months, reaching well above 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit). Nights tend to be cooler. Rainfall is scarce, with occasional showers occurring primarily between November and March. The landscapes are dominated by vast dunes, rocky plains, and unique desert flora, creating an otherworldly and arid environment for those exploring this part of Namibia.

Tour overview:

Day 1

Embark on a scenic drive from Cape Town to your accommodation in Namibia, a journey of approximately 7 hours. Upon arrival, settle into the welcoming surroundings and unwind. Later, enjoy a delicious dinner to cap off the day's travel.

Day 2-4

Dive into the excitement of a 3-day paddling expedition down the vibrant Orange River! Experience the enchantment of wild camping under the stars each night, accompanied by delicious prepared meals. Don't miss out on the fun – try your hand at fishing and revel in the company of amazing wildlife along the riverbanks. It's an adventure that combines the best of nature, camping, and unforgettable moments!

Day 5

After the thrilling paddle down the Orange River, we'll set our sights on Aisais, where the anticipation builds for the exciting hike that awaits us the next day. Unwind and prepare for the upcoming adventure as we spend the night in this picturesque setting.

Day 6-10

Start with an early morning journey as we hop on the shuttle to the top of the canyon, initiating our thrilling 5-day descent down the Fish River Canyon. Throughout the adventure, seize opportunities to indulge in refreshing swims in the river. As we embrace the wild, camping under the starlit sky, you'll have the chance to showcase your culinary skills using the provisions we provide. Experience awe-inspiring views of the canyon from this unique vantage point below. Get ready for a journey filled with exploration and breathtaking landscapes.

Day 11

After a satisfying breakfast, we will commence our 9-hour drive back to Cape Town.
